Two 2-hour prenatal visits – these are customized to the needs of the parents and their wishes
- Phone and email support during pregnancy
- 24-hour on call availability from 2 weeks prior to the due date of the baby
- Early labour support, continuous labour support during active labour and childbirth and 1-2 hours care after baby is born
- One postpartum visit to share birth story and photos (if couple desires)
- Two 1 ½-hour postpartum visits by postpartum doula – if requested
Postpartum Support
A postpartum doula is a wonderful ‘team member’ during the early days of your ‘new’ family life. The work of a postpartum doula ensures that mom and baby establish a strong bond, while providing mom with breastfeeding and baby care support. A postpartum doula also does chores around the house or whatever else is needed to give mom the well-deserved rest.
