Midwifery care is now available in the Sea to Sky Corridor. As of October 2010 Lydia Szymanski has been accepting clients who live in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. With privileges at Squamish General Hospital and Lions Gate Hospital, Lydia will also be offering home births in Squamish in the near future.
Registered midwives are committed to providing professional, individualized and holistic care to you and your family through your pregnancy, childbearing and early parenting experiences. They offer midwifery services that honour women and their families as primary decision makers.
Midwifery care is fully funded by MSP, with no cost to you.
